Peninsula 1957 Cafe
This café really brings out the nostalgic food memories from old times. The meaning behind the theme “Peninsula 1957”, all the good foods from those era.. specialized with Chinese kopitiam drinks and snacks , and meals from the Hokkien based, and local cuisines too. The year 1957 is the year Malaysia 🇲🇾 got the independence too.
Thanks to Jet (boss) for his warm welcome and hospitality, we appreciate it.

So we had their..
1) Prawn Wantan with Authentic HK Wantan Mee (noodle), amazingly comfy and easy going, chewy noodle with fresh succulent prawn dumplings ..6 of them in total !
2) Signature Rendang Chicken Nasi Lemak. Fragrant Nasi Lemak with condiments. The sambal is sweet and finely spicy. The rendang chicken, well spiced and we love it.
3) Homemade Hokkien Pork Roll. As a part of Hokkienese, we were blown away by pork roll “loh bak”. My WORD, the outer layer is made of pork lards! And the fillings are a perfect mix of fatty meats and spices.
4) Peninsula Portuguese Custard Tart. The golden nugget of this cafe, it’s smooth, fragrant and delicate. It has a crusty outside , and the fillings … wow, custardy and amazing pudding like texture. It’s GOOOOOOOOOOD.
5) Peninsula Classic Butter Kopi. This is one classic combo, with butter and hot coffee. Super aromatic , the coffee’s smell fusing with the butter’s scent is so harmonious.
6) Tiger Bite Lion. A mix of Hailam Coffee and Milo (chocolate drink .Heck this combo always works!! It’s our local style or MOCHA !
7) Red Bean Dessert. A warm and cozy red bean dessert, always a blessing to have
